S.O.A.R. FAMU wants to help provide the materials needed for learning and living. At a HBCU like Florida A&M University, materials needed spans from the items needed for a freshman dorm room, to the clothes needed to look your best on “The Set”. Some scholarships are designated for tuition and fees, but every college student knows that the need extends beyond course enrollment. This scholarship is given directly to you! It is your choice on what need you use the money towards.
This scholarship is meant to help students continue education after high school. Continuing education after high school is not easy to fund but can be a major jump start to your life.
With the new normal the world has to embrace recently; this scholarship is intended to support the Rattler community. This scholarship is one of many support systems for this community.
Although the scholarship program was designed for students entering the class of 2024, it has expanded to give to incoming freshmen annually. I am thrilled about the opportunity to give back to my FAMUly.
