Taylor Ford

Taylor Ford grew up in Boynton Beach, Fl. She graduated from Florida A&M University with a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Computer Information Systems. Before attending FAMU, she graduated from high school with a diploma and an A.A. Degree from Palm Beach State College through the Dual Enrollment program. While in college, she has had the opportunity to gain five professional internship experiences including internships at Dow Chemical, Johnson & Johnson, and Deloitte that allowed her to gain experience in accounting, information systems, information technology, project management, and risk and financial advisory.

Professional Involvment

Taylor has attended multiple seminars and programs to increase her professional involvement. Deloitte’s Luminary Symposium, Emerging Leaders in Accounting Scholarship Program, and Thurgood Marshal Scholarship Fund Leadership Institute are three that impacted her most. Most notably, she was named Deloitte’s 2021 Emerging leader. She believes in taking every professional opportunity available to strengthen her professional influence. She wants to prepare herself to be a student mentor while experiencing continued growth professionally.

 

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Taylor is a member of Beta Alpha chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. a globally-impactful organization of nearly 300,000 college-trained members, bound by the bonds of sisterhood and empowered by a commitment to servant-leadership that is both domestic and international in its scope.

FAMU Cheerleader

Taylor was a Florida A&M University cheerleader from 2018 to 2020. This extracurricular activity helped her connect to current students, prospective students, alumni and the surrounding community.
